What an amazing day! The weather played nice, the venue was perfect and the people of Centurion rocked!

Our DJ VinnieG was spot on with the music, so much so that some of the people from Copwatch and Monitor Net just couldn’t help themselves but to get up and show off their movies. The market had some interesting stalls for young and old as well as for the gardeners and braai guys. Wierdabrug CPF Sector 2 Young entertained the children in the care center with face painting, colouring and photo booth props freeing up their parents to enjoy a game of putt-putt.

Once a year we host an event for the men and women in the security network, giving them an opportunity to meet up for some fun and just to relax a bit but also for the public to meet the teams that watch over them in Centurion. Last year Monitor Net showed them how to pull a rope, this year the Wierdabrug CPF Sector 2 showed them how to pushing a little white ball into a hole with a stick – earning them the Guardians floating trophy.

What the winning team didn’t know was that the title also came with a dunk-in in a jelly bath – here are some photos.

* Security network is everyone that plays a role in our safety – security companies, EMS, SAPS, Metro, community policing, fire brigade and ward councillors.
